Having qualified as an actuary (FIA) in 1977, I have spent most of my working life involved in corporate pensions, including 10 years as a partner in a major UK firm. Currently employed by Government Actuary’s Department, where I spend a great deal of my time on the pension aspects of public-private staff transfers under TUPE, I also hold a Scheme Actuary certificate under the Pensions Act 1995.

Looking for an extra challenge, I qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 1997. Subject to prior commitments, I am more than willing to take on suitable arbitration assignments, offering web-based support (contact plus resources).
